LAS VEGAS (April 9, 2024) –DJ Cassidy will bring his beloved “Pass The Mic Live!” to Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in July 2024 for an exclusive three-week residency starring New York native Hip Hop icons Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh. The five-man team will follow Bakkt Theater alumni Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani and Shania Twain, all whose residencies have called the venue home. The shows will be held on July 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2024, with all performances scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
The residency will debut an all-star ensemble of Hip Hop legends, uniting solely for this show, and will announce weekly special guests. DJ Cassidy will “Pass The Mic Live” on stage to each artist through his groundbreaking format, taking audiences on an unprecedented musical journey, redefining the art of collaboration and celebration. Presented by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, the show will be produced in conjunction with music mogul, Steve Rifkind, founder of Loud and SRC Records.
“Just as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop united in Las Vegas to form the Rat Pack, one of the greatest shows of all time, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Artist fans will have access to a presale beginning Thursday, April 11 at 10 a.m. PT.
